  • 2022-2023 CE Offering | Society of FSP, South Jersey Chapter

2022-2023 CE Offering As a chapter this year, we have to move to where the puck is going to be, not where the puck is. As such, we are offering CE in a new way in 2022 and 2023 . To help better support our members, we have designed a program calendar to support your business and offer new ideas, while offering an alternative way to earn your state mandated CE . We will be offering Super CE to our members who attend 5 meetings during the course of the program year. To clarify; that is one exam to cover all of your state CE . The chapter will pay the CE exam fee if you have attended the require sessions. With this new approach, we can offer programs not just on CE , but program themes to garner new members, like Social Security and Practice Management that speak to multiple professions and allow us to be open to new topics. We will offer a NJ State Super CE exam date in the Spring, that will include: 1 exam for two hours of testing that you can take with others in the chapter and a proctor, or at home with a proctor. The exam will cover: 24 hours of STATE CE including ethics 15- CFP CE (but not CFP Ethics) 24 PACE and 5 CIME/CPWA CE Please feel free to call me with any questions: 609-315-6687. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you in the new year. Al Sorichetti, CHFC®, CLU®, CLTC, CBC & ALHC President, SFSP South Jersey Chapter

  • Code of Ethics | Society of FSP, South Jersey Chapter

CODE OF ETHICS Why does it make good sense to select a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals to assist you in achieving your financial objectives? Here are four very important reasons: 1. To become a regular member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, a practitioner must complete an advanced curriculum of college level studies and obtain a professional designation. 2. Upon entering membership, all members must take the Professional Pledge of the Society which reads as follows: THE PROFESSIONAL PLEDGE In all my professional relationships, I pledge myself to the following rule of ethical conduct. I shall, in the light of all conditions surrounding those I serve, which I shall make every conscientious effort to ascertain and understand, render that service which, in the same circumstances, I would apply to myself. 3. To maintain their membership, members must agree to adhere to a professional Code of Ethics which governs the conduct of their business practices. A copy of the Code of Ethics is available to anyone by contacting the Society of Financial Service Professionals at 610-526-2500. Individuals who violate the Code can be subject to censure, suspension, revocation of the right to use their professional designation, expulsion from the Society, and other possible sanctions by regulatory agencies. 4. Members must maintain a regular program of continuing education studies to keep their knowledge and skills current and in compliance with all applicable Society and regulatory standards.
